There are also other options available for those wanting to go further afield.

Mount Hotham offers numerous venues in Winter. Cars can enter Mt Hotham Resort from Dinner Plain, at no cost after 3.30 pm. Just ask for an ‘Evening Pass’ at the Ticket Box, but be sure to leave by midnight ( Pumpkin & glass slippers not supplied)

The winter Night Bus runs on certain evenings during the peak season, enquire at the office for details.

In summer 'The General' is open usually from around 10am.

Omeo also offers a limited range of venues from Take-away through to ala carte.

Around 30km north of Omeo, the Blue Duck Hotel at Anglers Rest offers some of the best steaks in Victoria, and makes a fantastic day trip from Dinner Plain in Summer.
